The Village Pre-School (Gorse Covert)

Gorse Covert Road, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 6TS, UK – 07875 365967

My daughter was attending The Village Pre-school. She absolutely loved it and she made lovely friends. Staff prepare children to school very well and mine is a shining example of it! She went to different school then her friends, she didn't know anyone but on her first day of big school she walked in with smile and confidence :)

My two youngest children both attended The Village Pre-school and I found it to be an excellent preparation for starting school. Fabulous caring staff. Highly recommended.

First Steps Day Nursery Ltd

Robson Way, Lowton, Warrington WA3 2RD, UK – 01942 678803

I have placed three of my children with the nursery over the last 6 years and have received impeccable service with each child. We have recently moved areas and have gone to a new nursery in Cheshire which does not live up to the standards we received from this great nursery. Thank you to everybody at First Steps :)

After School Care

Bridgewater Day Care (Golborne Day Centre)

Queen St, Golborne, Warrington WA3 3AF, UK – 01942 723115

As a member of staff at Bridgewater Day Care I feel its the most amazing place i have ever worked as our clients are our main focal point. To see them interacting and being as independent as possible is just a joy to watch.

Dad is always so happy and lifted when he comes home from the day centre. It’s lovely to know that he’s safe and well looked after during the day. The centre is clean and tidy but has a homely feel, and all the girls are amazing!

Independent Schools

Green Meadow Independent Primary School

Robson Way, Lowton, Warrington WA3 2RD, UK – 01942 671138

My daughter started in kindergarten as she had outgrown nursery. From the second she walked in she has loved it. The teachers are fabulous and nothing is too much trouble for them. The school has a lovely family feel to it and even though it is a private school it is very reasonably priced and the value for money is outstanding. I was paying more for nursery than full time Kindergarten. We wanted our child to attend a school with small class sizes as the normal state school ratio was 32 children to 1 teacher. This was not an option we wanted for her. Our child is headstrong and very independent and the teachers have totally embraced her spirit and they champion the children's individuality and educate in a very creative manner that acknowledges that each child can learn differently. My only issues is they cant stay through to high school as she will never want to leave.

I would recommend Green Meadow to any parent wanting to give their child the best possible start to their education. The teachers and facilities are fantastic. The education is outstanding, they work hard with a fun approach. Children are allowed to be children and their individual personalities are embraced. The teachers and Head truly care about the welfare and development of each child. My son is confident and independent since starting at Greean Meadow and loves going to school. The daily after school activities are varied and broaden their education further - whilst also providing an affordable extension to the school day which is help with childcare.

Culcheth Community Primary School

Carson House, 44 Warrington Rd, Culcheth, Warrington WA3 5HH, UK – 01925 764312

Our granddaughter is due to start attending Culcheth Community School in September and we have recently seen the superb range and sets of pre-school information and documents provided for both parents and children prior to them starting to attend. This included a card obviously made by a child in the nursery but containing a 'Welcome' message from the school. The class teacher and a support teacher have already visited our granddaughter and her family at home and this has created a genuine feeling of excitement and confidence for all concerned. We understand that either the Headteacher or the class teacher will be visiting children in their nursery between now and the end of term. The entire ethos of the school seems to be one of openness, support, welcome and - unsurprisingly - community. For instance, the Head and staff were more than happy to arrange dates for our granddaughter's parents to view the school at a time that suited them and to accommodate them when they had a few key questions. This was in marked contrast to another school. In talking to friends who already have young children attending the school it seems clear that whereas academic progress is, of course, a major point of focus, so is emphasis upon creativity and personal and social development. All that, of course, should be the underpinning ethos of all schools, but at Culcheth Community School it seems to be a living, breathing attitude and practice. As an ex-teacher and Deputy (now retired), I am almost as excited about our granddaughter starting school as she is herself. It's no wonder the school was so over-subscribed this year. I suspect that if not already, it will soon be THE school in Culcheth for parents who want the best possible start to the future education and growth of their children.

Proper place to learn. Expensive but all electrician courses are expensive. If anything, it's slightly cheaper than the rest. Best thing was availability. Very clean, friendly, quiet place, near a shop with food, very skilled teachers who know exactly how to teach. It was worth the 100 mile drive from nuneaton

3Rs Tuition (Culcheth) Ltd

457 Warrington Rd, Culcheth, Warrington WA3 5SJ, UK – 01925 552190

Looking for a tutor is hard as there is so much choice. I called and emailed quite a few and to be honest, few of them inspired me. What stood out with 3Rs Tuition was that they offered proper plans for the tuition and then they updated them every six weeks. When you are stretching your family budget to provide the best for your kids, you need to know what you are paying for. The set up is usual having visited the national companies. Instead of the large rooms with loads of kids, they have small rooms for each tutor. I was also surprised to see whiteboards. Both my children have now been going to 3Rs since January and they love it. Simon is really good fun when he teaches and Andrew quietly helps the children relax and feel at home. If you are looking for a tutor, go visit the centres first and then and only then make your mind up.

I would like to thank Simon and everybody at 3Rs Tuition. My son was struggling with both maths and English. We tried a tutor at home and he hated it. We changed to 3Rs Tuition and suddenly he was keen to go every week. He liked the whole set up. Small classrooms meant that he felt he could ask questions without embarrassment. All we have to do now is wait until August for the results.
