This is my local farm shop and eatery. It sells quite a wide selection of their own and locally sourced fruits;vegetables ,meats and fish . You will also find various oils, some crafted beer's,ice cream and ready made frozen food's. The cafe is excellent for snacks and prepared meals, but there will be a short wait because all food is prepared to order.....quite delicious. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, this is not for you as it is only relatively small with minimum seating, particularly during school holidays and cold weather /winter month's when the outside seating area becomes redundant. Best time to visit is before midday, or after 3pm.
We've been here twice. Once last year when there were no fruit or vegetable season. We did a mistake by just popping by without checking their website. But the first time, we enjoyed walking around looking at the plants, we bought some stuff at their shop, and my daughter enjoyed their play area too. The second time was just now. We missed the strawberry season which was around last month I think. So this time we managed to pick some blackberries, sugar-snap peas, and onions too. There were raspberries but we didn't pick them. The place is really huge so the blackberries was on the other side of the field while the peas on the other. At the moment, the corn isn't ready yet so we couldn't pick those. But there's a corn maze so you could check that out. Pumpkins look close to getting ready too. They changed the play area slightly. My daughter enjoyed spending time there too! Oh to add, the workers are friendly. :)
